Punctuality and Access
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your class starts so you are on your mat by the time class begins. When there is no front-desk staff on site, it is our policy to lock the outside studio door and to open it 15 minutes prior to the start of class.
Registration Classes & Make-Up Classes
All classes requiring pre-registration, including those led by Peentz Dubble and kids' and teen classes, allow 3 make-up classes per series. Make-ups must be done by the end of the series and can be done with any teacher in the studio. (A make up is taking a class outside the day or time registered for). Students register for the entire series with payment in FULL. No sharing series, swapping times and days and no refunds or credits if students can't finish the series. For kids' classes only, the parent may choose to take an adult class in lieu of the child's make-up.
Class Reservations and Cancellations
You can reserve your place in class by signing up online, although there is no need to sign up ahead of time for most classes. If you are unsure about whether you will be able to attend class, just plan to drop in. If you do pre-register, cancellations must be made at least 1 hour before the class start time for a refund; otherwise, you forfeit the class.
Workshop Reservations and Cancellations
Most of our workshops sell out ahead of time, so pre-registration is strongly advised. All workshops must be fully paid for in advance, and cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the workshop to receive a credit to your Down Under account.
Snow
The website schedule is always right! We try to run classes despite snow, so even in the event of severe snowstorms or snow emergencies, please check our online schedule 1 hour before class. If the class is still listed, that means we're open and the class is running. (This policy applies to both adult and teen drop-in classes.) If you are enrolled a class series (i.e., Peentz's classes), please check our online schedule for drop-in classes. If those classes are running, your series class will also be running.
We typically cancel children's classes when school is cancelled. However, if the weather permits and we can run class, you will receive an e-mail from us by 1:00 p.m.
Pass Extensions
In the event of a snow emergency, newcomer passes will be extended for each day the studio is closed. Unlimited monthly passes will not be extended. We will try to arrange make-up classes for registered series.
Lost and Found
Lost and found items are kept for 2 weeks. Please ask at the front desk.
